Bjorn Westphal Eriksen,
Member, is founder and managing director of Danish Technology Transfer,
a company specializing in international licensing, regional development
and the setting up of R&D projects sponsored by the European Commission.
After employment in the Danish Fermentation Industry Ltd. (Danish
Distillers Ltd.), where he made several patented innovations, he founded
the National Danish Innovation Center, a semi-governmental organization
which is responsible for commercialization of innovations from Danish
universities and Danish industry. Several hundred new products and
processes have been founded by the center. Mr. Eriksen holds a M.Sc.
in chemical engineering and biotechnology from the Danish Technical
University.
Dr.Takaya Ikeda,
Representative, Dr. Ikeda has a long history in the chemical business, most recently at Sumitomo 3M, where he was responsible for the marketing of 3M’s Scotchguard. Prior to that, he served as the Japanese Technical Information Liaison ” for 3M, where he was responsible for gathering and reporting on technology related marketing information. Prior to that, he worked with Hunt Chemicals and Dow Chemical in the US. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio.
Jerry S. Oakes,
Representative, has many years of management experience, and is presently
CEO of Synergy Consultants, a full-service marketing research and
new product development firm. He has also served as CEO of Synergy
Petroleum Corporation, a Texas oil and gas exploration company and
as a former CEO of Oakes World-Wide Distributors. He was also President
of Automotive Performance, Inc., an automotive accessories manufacturer
and distributor which was founded by Mr. Oakes and taken to an $18,000,000
public company in three years. Mr. Oakes received his engineering
training from Texas A&M and his business education from the University
of Texas at Arlington. Synergy Consultants is a DELTATECH corporate

Seung-Ho Lee Korea
Mr. Seung Ho Lee founded and is the Managing Director of DeltaTech-Korea, LLC, which was formed in 2000. Prior to starting DeltaTech-Korea, Mr. Lee worked with the Korea International Trade Association for eight years as a business development expert, specializing in technology licensing, venture feasibility studies, joint ventures and export channel design. He received his MBA in International Business and Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing in the UK. He also studied Quality Control in the Institute for International Studies & Training in Japan.
Irene Jaffe
Mrs. Jaffe is an advisor in innovation commercialization, primarily with Israeli start-ups in chemical, materials, industrial and bio-related fields. She is currently involved with two start-ups and is the exclusive Israeli representative for Delta Tech International. Prior to her [present duties, she was at The Initiatives Center of the Negev Ltd. Technological Incubator, where her responsibilities included evaluation of new projects, both technologically and from a marketing point of view, business plan assessment, assessment of intellectual property, technology management and monitoring of incubator companies, business development for incubator companies, matchmaking between investors and entrepreneurs. Prior to that, she worked with the Technological Advancement Program (TAP), University of Maryland USA (Technological Incubator) and the Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) of the University of Maryland, College Park, USA
